MICRONEEDLING
Also known as percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses fine, short, sterile needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. The natural healing process then stimulates new collagen and elastin. Microneedling can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, minimize sun damage, acne scars and pore size while improving overall skin tone and texture. Results can be enhanced by applying platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the treated tissue during the procedure. PRP contains proteins, growth factors and cytokines to enhance tissue repair and collagen production. This is a great treatment for face and neck rejuvenation, but can also improve the appearance of acne scars, stretches, traumatic or surgical scars. A series of microneedling treatments space 1 month apart is recommended for optimal results.
QWO
QWO is the first and only FDA approved treatment for moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult woman. Cellulite is not skin laxity, or sagging skin and is often not something that can be fixed in the gym. It is dimpling that occurs when the fibrous bands under the skin’s surface begin to constrict and pull areas of skin inward. KYBELLA
Kybella is the first and only injectable prescription medication used in adults to improve the appearance of submental fat, also called the “double chin.” The active ingredient, deoxycholic acid, is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in fat break down and absorption. When injected, Kybella permanently destroys fat cells to provide a more sculpted jawline. A series of treatment is required for most patients to achieve optimal results. Eliminating unwanted fat with Kybella doesn’t require you to go under the knife to achieve a better looking neck and chin area.
